AIMS

McLeman QS Network have developed employment policies that embody the principles of equal opportunity to meet the needs of its employees, its sector and the location in which they operate.

OBJECTIVES

The objectives of this policy is to pursue the following goals:

iii) ensure that the recruitment policy for the company remains, as always has been, 'the best person for the job'.

DUTIES

McLeman QS Network promotes the responsibility for all employees, in particular those involved in the recruitment and personnel selection, to accept and apply this policy whenever it impinges on their day to day duties and dealings with other employees, clients and the public.

"By Royal Appointment"!- 
It may only be a fairly small project at the cafe at Hollyrood House in Edinburgh, however we are very honoured to have secured a CDM-C commission from  "The Royal Household."

We are delighted announce we have  been appointed for The CDM-C Framework service for 2009-2012 with West Lothian Council Construction Services for projects between £50K and £2.5m.

Weslo Housing Management have appointed us for a second year for both QS and CDM service to take forward their 2010-11 maintenance programme, which include 10 projects with a value of  £1.25m. 
We have also recently been trusted to take  forward three frost damage remedial work projects with a total value of £70k

We are still anxiously waiting for lottery approval for our £1.5m Collieston Community Centre with architects Reiach and Hall.

Andrew McLeman quoted in the press in 2008 and now in 2009 asked to pen an article on the cost implications of having only single bed rooms in future Scottish hospitals - see the articles here

Just completed  present are two £1m house extensions/
refurbishments  The first  near Loch Lomond and the second one in East Lothian

The Benjamin Tindall designed Luffness Castle extension is now complete and the Z1 Youth Bar for Girvan Youth Trust has recently opened to rave reviews.

Our CDM Co-ordination Division has new projects for Clients including The Royal Household, Adelphi Distillery, Linlithgow Golf Club, Energy Tech Centre, Paragon Inks,  Edinburgh Napier University, West Lothian Council; The Duke of Argyle Estates,  St Peters Church, PGL Travel, Mayfied Sailsbury Church,  NHS Lothian:  Forth Valley College and  Cigna Ltd.
